Some quick facts about me:
-
I live in the town of Newcastle, Washington, a suburb of Seattle.
LIke most other Newcastles around the world, ours was once a coal
mining town.
-
I was born at the old Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North
Carolina. That building, at the corner of St. Mary's Street
and Wade Avenue is now home to the NC Employment Security
Commission. Looking at a map not long ago I noticed for the
first time that the street running directly behind the former hospital is
Williamson Drive. Huh!
-
I may very well be the most remote holder of NC
State Wolfpack football season tickets. I have not confirmed
this. Go Pack!
-
I had open heart surgery when I was five years old
to repair a hole in my heart. I'm feeling much better now,
thanks for asking.
-
Here's a pretty dorky picture of me from my high school graduation -
class of '88.
You could land a fighter jet on that haircut.
